This device needs an on/off switch it usually wakes up - rather noisily - when plugged in to the Thunderbolt port, but often I have to reboot. LUNA looks amazing, though I have no need for multitrack recording - and I suffer from a bit of PTSD (ProT***s Stress Disorder).
The included plugins appear, usefully, in the Effects menu of my simple DAW software program, Twisted Wave - yet unfortunately, so do scores of others that are irrelevant to my work. Voice recordings using a Sennheiser 416 shotgun condenser mic at 48 kHz/24 bit sound clean and nuanced to me, and more importantly, to my agent. Phantom power is easy to toggle on and off.
